This initiative underscores a shared commitment to fostering young talent and providing a bridge from karting to car racing, addressing the financial and technical challenges that often accompany this critical transition.
Hamish impressed the judges, comprised of representatives from Radical Motorsport, Wera Tools UK and Alliance Racing, at the selection day held at Bedford Autodrome in October.

Hamish will join the Radical Racing Rebels scholarship winner Rachel Robertson as part of the team for 2025.
In 2022, Hamish participated in the X Kart scholarship, finishing in the top 12. Although he didn’t win, he impressed enough to secure a place as a factory driver for X Kart. In 2023, he became the first X Kart rookie to compete at the top level of club championship karting, racing in the Rotax Junior Max category and achieving notable success, including pole positions, heat wins, and a podium. By 2024, Hamish joined Argenti Motorsport as a Junior X30 driver in the Wera Tools British Kart Championships, earning multiple top 10 finishes in only his second year of karting.
Karting has long been recognised as an accessible entry point into motorsport, yet the leap to car racing remains a significant hurdle for many young drivers. The Radical Racing Rebels initiative aims to close this gap, offering promising racers like Rachel and Hamish a platform to showcase their skills on a larger stage.
With Radical Motorsport’s expertise and Wera Tools UK’s support, the Radical Cup UK serves as the perfect proving ground. Known for nurturing and development emerging talent. The Radical Cup UK prepares drivers for careers in GT, single-seater, or prototype racing, ensuring they’re ready for the rigors of professional motorsport.
