Current Hagerty Radical Cup UK Championship leader Chris Lulham returns to the grid for the Brands Hatch finale this weekend, with a commanding 236-point lead. In his first full season of circuit racing, the Valour Racing star has been nearly unstoppable, with just one defeat in 15 races, so he will be eager to extend his winning streak.
DW Racing’s Oscar Joyce will also be looking to end his season on a high. With double points on offer in the final race, Joyce has a shot at claiming second place in the standings, overtaking Hilton.
In the Fangio Trophy, a tense battle for the title is set between John Macleod and Peter Tyler. Macleod, driving for RSR, currently holds a narrow seven-point advantage over his DW Racing rival. This tight competition also extends to their fight for fourth place overall, with Tyler determined to keep the pressure on his long-time competitor.
Valour’s Jack Yang is expected to be among the frontrunners as well, while RSR’s Paul Denning has shown strong form in recent races. James Pinkerton will also take the development car for a spin.
Rally ace Max McRae, part of the legendary McRae family, is set to make his UK racing debut in the Wera Academy works car. Although McRae has experience racing a Radical in Western Australia, this will be his first appearance at Brands Hatch.
Qualifying is on Saturday at 11:40 for 15 minutes, with race one at 15:25. They race again on Sunday morning at 10:05 before the final race at 14:40.

The battle for the SR1 Cup title is poised for a thrilling conclusion at Brands Hatch, as Sam Shaw and Marcus Littlewood enter the weekend separated by just four points. DW’s Shaw has led the championship for most of the season, but Littlewood’s strong performance at Circuit Paul Ricard has set the stage for a final showdown in the 18th and last race of the year.
While Littlewood’s family-run car may have the momentum, Shaw still holds the advantage in what promises to be a nail-biting finish.
A fight for third place is also heating up between North Motorsport teammates Bradley and Ashley Gaunt. Bradley holds a 26-point advantage, but with plenty of points still available, the battle could go either way.
Lexie Belk, in her debut season, will be aiming for another podium finish to cap off a successful year. Matt Hammond returns in the University of Derby car, and RSR’s Ollie Denning, son of Paul Denning, will take to the track for just the second time in his career after a previous outing at Donington in 2022.
Having separate races this weekend, they qualify at 10:50 on Saturday, before racing at 13:20 and 18:05, and their finale is on Sunday 13:25:
