Radical Motorsport, Britain’s largest race car manufacturer and the second largest in the world, is thrilled to announce the return of the Radical World Finals to North America in 2025. Virginia International Raceway (VIR) will play host to the highly anticipated global showdown, bringing together elite drivers from Radical Cup Championships across the world.
Following the success of the previous events in Las Vegas (2022), Portimão (2023), and Abu Dhabi (2024), Radical Motorsport will once again welcome competitors from as far afield as Asia, the Middle East and Europe to battle for glory at one of North America’s most loved racing venues.
Located in Alton, Virginia, Virginia International Raceway (VIR) is renowned for its challenging layout and picturesque setting. The 3.27-mile road course features high-speed straights, technical corners, and dramatic elevation changes, making it a favourite among drivers and spectators alike. As a premier motorsports destination, VIR has hosted top-tier racing events and continues to be a proving ground for some of the world’s best racing talent. VIR is also home to Radical Virginia, by EVR Motorsports, an authorised Radical dealer serving the surrounding area.
The Radical World Finals will be supporting the inaugural North American Veterans Race of Remembrance, this USAC-sanctioned event is the first of its kind in North America and promises to become a significant fixture on the US motorsport calendar. Bringing together top-tier drivers, teams, and high-performance cars, participants will tackle one of America’s most iconic road courses.
In the spirit of the original Race of Remembrance which was founded by Mission Motorsport in the UK in 2013, the racing revolves around Veterans Day, a celebration of veterans, and a track side Remembrance Day service. The racing events will showcase several different motorsport series on-track, including single make series and a 12-hour endurance main-event race, in addition to other veteran-focused activities and competitions. Thousands of motorsport enthusiasts, active service members, and Veterans are expected to attend, making it a remarkable weekend of competition, celebration, and remembrance.
Mirroring the Radical Cup North America series, which will share the stage with INDYCAR on three occasions in 2025, the Radical World Finals 2025 will feature three classes of competition. Drivers piloting the brand’s SR10 and SR3 race cars will vie for World Championship titles in their respective divisions.
With nearly 3,000 Radical owners worldwide and a thriving dealer network spanning over 20 countries, Radical Motorsport continues to be the leading choice for track enthusiasts, gentleman racers, and professionals alike. Producing 150 cars annually at its UK factory, Radical has cemented its place in motorsport history, from setting Nürburgring records to competing at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.
