Taking place at Motorpark Romania, the event was set against a dramatic backdrop of challenging weather conditions, with the cold temperature hovering around 5°C throughout the day and heavy rain soaking the track for the latter half. Despite these difficulties, 19 determined teams lined up to push the limits of endurance racing in this unforgettable season finale.

As the race unfolded, conditions grew more grueling with rain, slippery turns, and visibility issues testing both the drivers’ skills and the reliability of the cars. In the end, Racebox emerged as the victors, piloting the sole Radical SR3 XX in the competition. Drivers Andrei Enescu and Ovidiu Zaberca navigated the relentless 8-hour ordeal with precision, completing a remarkable 204 laps—equivalent to 816 kilometers. Their efforts saw them finish a full lap ahead of their closest rivals, securing the top spot and a place in the record books.

This win for Racebox marks another victory for Radical vehicles in Romanian endurance racing. Last season, a different Radical SR3 XX team clinched the win in the season’s final race, which was structured as two six-hour segments over a weekend. This year’s format, however, with a single 8-hour stint, introduced an additional layer of difficulty and demanded even greater resilience from the teams.

The success of the Racebox team at this historic race underlines the durability and capability of the Radical SR3 XX model and solidifies the vehicle’s place in the Romanian Endurance Cup legacy.
