The calendar brings together established favourites and fresh opportunities as the series anticipates its biggest grid yet. There are four rounds in Sweden running alongside the Swedish Touring Car Championship, with two unique Danish events adding a new dimension to the season.
With a growing passion for Radical racing in the Nordic region, the championship heads into 2027 with strong momentum. The newly launched Radical Denmark is opening new opportunities to welcome Danish drivers and teams into the series, strengthening its Scandinavian identity.
“For me, this is the strongest calendar in Radical Cup Scandinavia’s history,” says series promotor and Radical Sweden’s Filip Svensson.
“Racing alongside STCC at all four Swedish rounds gives our drivers a fantastic stage, while the two Danish weekends bring something really special to the season.”
The Radical Cup Scandinavia season opens at Sweden’s Mantorp Park on 30 April – 2 May, at the Vårracet event.
Classic Race Viborg in Denmark brings the championship onto the streets over 21-23 May, marking the first ever street race in Europe for a Radical Cup series. The event offers a distinctive setting, and with crowds of up to 35,000 spectators, is one of the largest motorsport events in the region.
On the weekend of 4-5 June, the series heads to Ljungbyhed for the Airport Race, before Falkenberg on 9-11 July.
The Danish chapter continues on 4-5 September at FDM Jyllandsringen. The penultimate round sets up a busy finish, with the championship heading to Ring Knutstorp the following weekend, on 11-12 September.
“I am delighted with the interest we are already seeing from the Danish market,” says Radical Denmark CEO Morten Dons.
“Having two wonderful race weekends in Denmark gives us a great opportunity to build on that interest and welcome more Danish drivers into Radical Cup Scandinavia. A street race in Viborg, with crowds of up to 35,000, and a weekend at Jyllandsringen offer two very different experiences. It is an exciting combination for our drivers, teams and supporters.”
