Set to the backdrop of one of the most iconic circuits in British motorsport, an eighteen car field will battle for honours in the third round of the season.

After a close fought opening round of the season, Marcus Clutton and Jerome de Sadeleer went head to head at the Silverstone Festival weekend in August. Two victories for Clutton at Silverstone allowed him to narrowly extend his lead at the top of the championship standings.

Clutton heads to Donington Park 46 points ahead of de Sadeleer but, with the 360 Racing driver absent for the meeting, it will be down to Silverstone race winner Shane Stoney to stop Clutton’s championship charge.

Stoney comes to Donington Park with positive momentum after a stunning performance at Silverstone, where he stormed from sixth on the grid to take the victory.

After missing the first two rounds of the season, Radical veteran Barry Liversidge will make his 2020 debut at Donington. The Essex local will once again run under the RAW Motorsports banner. RAW will prepare eight cars this weekend, including Liversidge, Stoney, and fifth in the championship John MacLeod.

In the Teams Challenge fight, historic motorsport preparers Scott Sport aims to bounce back from a difficult debut weekend at Silverstone. Neil Glover and Jason Green once again hope to bring the fight to Teams title leaders Audunn Gudmundson and Tom Ashton in the Radical Works entry.

This weekend will also be the Radical SR3 XX’s first visit to Donington Park. Chris Preen will once again be behind the wheel for the XX’s second weekend in British competition.

On track action begins with qualifying on Saturday morning before the first 50-minute endurance race just after midday.

The 20-minute sprint race closes Radical action on Saturday, before the second 50-minute endurance race on Sunday.
