Pontiac, Michigan – October 5, 2025 — The new academy combines the world-class facilities of M1 Concourse with Team Stradale’s proven training methods to create an unparalleled driving experience. Utilizing purpose-built, highly capable yet highly approachable Radical SR3 race cars and a structured professional curriculum, the M1 Radical Driving Academy - powered by Team Stradale will allow drivers of all experience levels to learn advanced techniques, improve precision and confidence, and experience the thrill of true motorsport performance in a safe, controlled environment.

Four Radical SR3 Race cars Join the Fleet

To bring the program to life, M1 Concourse has acquired four Radical SR3 race cars—machines engineered for precision, reliability, and pure performance. Each SR3 represents the pinnacle of lightweight race car design, delivering supercar-level speed and handling dynamics that redefine what’s possible on a road course.

Powered by Radical’s 1,340cc four-cylinder RPE engine revving to over 10,000 rpm, the SR3 produces 205 horsepower while weighing just 1,350 pounds. With a six-speed sequential gearbox, aerodynamic bodywork, and adjustable suspension, the car accelerates from 0–60 mph in just over 3 seconds and achieves cornering forces of over 2.0g.

The SR3 is Radical’s most successful model worldwide, used in club, national and international racing series including the Radical Cup North America which supports INDYCAR events, and renowned for its ability to deliver the feel of a prototype race car with the usability and safety of a track-day platform.

These cars form the heart of the new M1 Radical Driving Academy, allowing students to experience the same equipment used in professional driver development programs across the globe. Combined with Team Stradale’s advanced coaching techniques, telemetry analysis, and personalized instruction, they ensure that every driver—from novice to experienced racer—can reach new levels of performance.
