PRO SR3
Leading the entries for the SR3's is Valour Racing’s Chris Lulham, who aims to maintain his unbeaten streak following two dominant wins at Donington.
His teammate, Luke Hilton, is expected to be his toughest competitor. Hilton had handling issues in his season debut but rebounded strongly to finish second in race two. Jason Rishover, also on the Donington podium, finished third in race one with 360 Competition, despite the team being newly formed just days before. This weekend, he will step up to the new generation XXR.
Joining the strong Valour lineup in the SR3 Class are Chris Preen and Jack Yang. Preen finished fifth in round two but had trouble in the first race due to a suspected blowout. Yang, making his UK seasonal debut, has previously competed in the Gulf Cup and North America Cup.
RSR brings two cars to the race, driven by John MacLeod and Paul Denning. MacLeod achieved two top-six finishes at Donington, while Denning had a strong fourth place in race one but ended race two in the gravel on the first lap.
DW Racing also fields two cars with Peter Tyler and Oscar Joyce. Tyler secured sixth in the second Donington race, and Joyce finished seventh in both, showing promising early speed in race one.
Former Bentley CEO Adrian Hallmark, who debuted in car racing at Donington, returns with North Motorsport.
PRO SR1
In the SR1 Class, it’s expected to be a tight competition between DW Racing’s Sam Shaw and family-run competitor Marcus Littlewood. Shaw took maximum points in race one at Donington, trailing guest driver James Taylor, with Littlewood in third. However, a penalty in race two cost Shaw, handing the win to Littlewood.
Lexie Belk had a challenging start but finished on the podium in race two with her family-run car. RSR’s Jack Leese, absent from the second Donington race after a strong start, will be aiming for a podium finish this weekend.
North Motorsport sees the return of siblings Ashley and Bradley Gaunt who complete the SR1 line-up.
Qualifying takes place at 10:35 on Saturday for 30 minutes, followed by races at 14:20 and 17:55. Sunday’s action begins with race three at 10:40 and concludes with the finale at 15:40, which is live on ITV4 and ITVX.
