Northamptonshire: 17th October 2022 - Radical Motorsport, one of the largest manufacturers of racing and track cars in the world, and organisers of the global Radical motorsport series’ announces an exciting new partnership with Hagerty International.
As a part of the agreement, the popular Radical Challenge championship will become known from 2023 as the Hagerty Radical Cup which also includes Hagerty branding on the podium backdrop, on winners trophies and throughout track hospitality areas. Hagerty branding will also appear on all cars participating within the UK championship and will also feature on Radical support vehicles.
As the season develops, Hagerty will campaign a guest driver to compete in a selected UK race meeting, driving a factory-supported Radical SR3, and will launch an exciting range of competitions which will include the chance for a competition winner to race a Radical in an official round of racing.
The 2023 Hagerty Radical Cup will be Radical’s premier UK race series, offering full factory-support and a range of format options and levels of competition to satisfy any racer, be they a novice to the sport, or a seasoned racer, The Radical Cup series comprises of a three race format taking place across two days of racing. The series includes classes for both the world’s most popular sports-prototype, the Radical SR3, as well as the turbocharged Radical SR10 along with the Radical SR8, RXC and RXC Spyder models.
Under the new partnership Radical Motorsport imagery and content will appear on the Hagerty motorsport website as well as on all printed promotional material, and exclusive insurance incentives will be offered to Radical owners as an additional benefit of the partnership. Radical information will be displayed at the new Bicester Heritage Clubhouse (due to open in 2023) along with occasional Radical car displays providing an opportunity for guests to view their sensational range in detail. In addition, Radical will support numerous Hagerty UK events, including RADwood.
