With two-thirds of the season complete, Marcus Littlewood arrives at Silverstone this weekend holding a commanding 123-point lead over Hamish Forrest.
Littlewood, racing for RSR, enjoyed a dominant run with five consecutive wins before being bested by Shane Stoney at Brands Hatch. He quickly bounced back, showcasing both pace and consistency by sweeping all three races at Snetterton.
At Zandvoort, Forrest claimed his long-awaited maiden victory in the opening race. The Radical Racing Rebels driver had previously finished second to Littlewood seven times and only missed the podium three times all season—one of those being due to a race-ending incident with Littlewood in race two at Zandvoort.
Forrest’s teammate Rachel Robertson has also shown strong progress. Now third in the standings, she earned her first podium with a third place at Brands Hatch, matched it again at Snetterton, and will be aiming to build on that momentum at Silverstone.
Behind the top three, RSR’s John Macleod and 360 Competition’s Andy Lowe are locked in a fierce battle for the Fangio Trophy. The pair have often been close on track—sometimes a little too close. Macleod currently holds the advantage, having secured third place in all three races at Donington Park, while Lowe’s best results have also been third, achieved at both Snetterton and Zandvoort.
Dutch LMP3 driver Max Van Der Snel made an impressive Radical debut at Zandvoort with Valour Racing. He confirmed his pace with two second-place finishes before claiming his first victory in race three—becoming the fourth different winner this season.
Valour Racing teammate Jack Yang returns to action after missing Zandvoort. He opened the season with a strong second place at Donington and has also been racing in the Middle East and US Championships, where he’s crossed paths with Lowe. Their last encounter at Snetterton ended in a collision that brought out the red flags.
Paul Denning has made limited appearances this year due to his Superbike commitments, but made his mark at Snetterton, finishing third overall and winning the Fangio Trophy in his RSR SR3 XXR.
Also returning is Wesley Fongenie for 360 Competition, the only driver competing in a Radical SR3 RSX.
Two Gulf Cup regulars, Amir Feyzulin and Alim Geshev, make their seasonal debuts in the UK Championship. Feyzulin—third in the 2023 Gulf Cup—joins North Motorsport, while Geshev lines up with Racing Rebels. Both are familiar faces on the UK scene.
Completing the line-up are Ross Board from the Radical Club Challenge and Matt Yard, both run by RJ Motorsport.
Qualifying is on Saturday morning for 25-minutes from 11:45, with Sprint Race One at 15:25. There are then two races on Sunday, Sprint Race Two at 09:00 and the 50-minute Endurance Race at 15:45.
