This year sees a new title sponsor, Fine Cut, thanks to the support of long-time Radical racer and supporter Peter Tyler. Fine Cut Group have been a long-term business partner of Radical Motorsport, supplying the Cambridgeshire, UK factory with laser cut and printed aluminium products such as the serialised dashboard and engine plates, plus the iconic domed nose badges.

Leading the entry list is reigning SR1 Cup Champion Marcus Littlewood. After competing as a privateer, he now races under the RSR Team umbrella. However, he will still have a familiar face in his corner, as his father continues to engineer his car. Joining him at RSR is John Macleod, last year’s Fangio Trophy winner, who embarks on his 15th season in Radical racing.

Another dedicated Radical supporter, Andy Lowe, has kept busy since the previous season, competing in the Gulf Radical Cup and the World Finals at Yas Marina. Like Littlewood, his journey began in the SR1 category.

DW Racing introduces debutant Alex Fisher, who made his Radical debut last September with a one-off appearance at Sonoma Raceway in the Radical Cup North America. Now, he is set for a full season in the UK Cup, driving the SR3 XXR previously raced by Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark.

Jack Yang returns for another season with last year’s championship-winning team, Valour Racing. Now entering his fourth year in Radical competition, Yang is a proven podium finisher with experience in both the Gulf Radical Cup, Radical Cup North America, and the Radical World Finals.

The Radical Racing Rebels Team made its debut at the final rounds of 2024 at Brands Hatch with Max McRae behind the wheel. This season, they field Rachel Robertson, who secured her Radical drive after just two seasons in karting, alongside Hamish Forrest, a former works junior kart racer making his car racing debut.

For 2025, the Team Class makes a return, with two entries from Formula Woman at Donington. Formula Woman, which is a community organisation of 5,000+ female drivers, founded in 2004 with the mission to help women from all backgrounds enjoy and participate in the sport. Radical has become their car of choice, thanks to its accessible nature, and global network racing opportunities. This weekend FW sees four of their drivers on track, before representing their nations in the inaugural Formula Woman Nations Cup this May in Dubai.

Leading the lineup is Alicia Barrett, who has been karting since the age of eight. A former Ladies X30 Karting winner at Le Mans in 2017 and Ladies Cup Champion in 2019, Barrett has also been involved in a McLaren Scholarship program and now serves as head coach for Formula Woman. She shares her car with Karla Villanueva, a young Mexican kart racer who recently took on safety car duties at the Mexico City Formula E race.

The second Formula Woman entry features Flame Airikkala, granddaughter of rally legend and RAC Rally winner Pentti Airikkala. Following in her mother Jo-Anne’s footsteps, who raced in the Fiesta Challenge in the late ‘90s, Flame competed in the Ford Fiesta Junior Championship last season. She has also tested in GB4, participated in Japan’s all-female Kyojo Cup single-seater series, and made her rallying debut at Snetterton. Completing the lineup is Nathalie Neumann, a Luxembourg-based driver with a background in Autocross.

The weekend’s action begins with a 25-minute qualifying session on Saturday morning at 11:55, followed by the first race at 18:15. Sunday’s schedule features the second 25-minute sprint race at 11:15, with the weekend concluding with the return of the 50-minute pit stop race at 16:00.
