The transition marks the beginning of a fresh era for both the Indy event and the RCC championship. Radical Cup Canada continues to gain momentum as the country’s premier single-make series, showcasing the lightweight, high-downforce Radical SR3 platform in wheel-to-wheel national competition. Its ongoing presence as part of the Indy program highlights their commitment to delivering top-tier racing opportunities and supporting the development of Canadian motorsport talent.
Beginning in 2026, the Emzone Radical Canada Cup presented by Michelin will introduce a significant financial incentive package, with $20,000 in prize money awarded at each race weekend. The money will be split between the Overall and Masters classes, adding meaningful reward to on-track performance while keeping the championship competitive and accessible. Each race will feature $10,000 in payouts, with $6,000 distributed among the top three Overall finishers and $4,000 awarded in the Masters category. Across ten races, drivers will have ten chances to convert performance into tangible financial gain, with all competitors racing identical 1340cc Radical machinery to ensure a level playing field and a true fight for the Overall victory.
Prize money, championship rewards, and participation prizing—including tyre credits, equipment, and vehicle care products—will support competitors at every stage of their development. Drivers who demonstrate talent, professionalism, and strong results may even earn opportunities that help advance their racing careers, emphasizing that reinvesting in drivers and teams is central to strengthening the Canadian motorsport ladder.
The 2026 season will take the championship to some of Canada’s most iconic racing venues. The season will open in May at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, before heading to Calabogie Motorsports Park. From there, the series travels to the legendary Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières in August, followed by the much-anticipated debut at the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Markham later on in the month. The season will conclude back at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in September, bringing the championship full circle at one of the country’s most storied racing facilities.
With a new venue, expanded prize structure, and an exciting calendar blending, the Emzone Radical Cup Canada is poised for its best and most competitive season yet as it enters 2026.
